MALE.
Augen nackt, Stirne matt hellgelb; Lunula glänzend braun, ein sich an dieselbe anschliessender, dreieckiger Flecken mattbraun, sodass die gelbe Farbe nur als breiter Saum übrig bleibt; Untergesicht glänzend hellgelb mit glänzender, breiter, schwarzbrauner Mittelstrieme. Behaarung der Stirne lang, schwarzbraun, die des Untergesichtes gelb. Gesichtshöcker mässig entwickelt. Fühler rotgelb, die obere Hälfte des 3ten Gliedes schwarzbraun.
Thoraxrücken mattschwarz, schwarzbehaart und mit breitem gelbem Saum, welcher sich nach hinten als gelber Rand des mattschwarzen Schildchens fortsetzt. Auf der Mitte des Thorax drei dicht beisammen liegende, gleichbreite, matt weissliche Längsstriemen, von welchen nur die mittelste das Schildchen erreicht und dort sogar etwas erweitert ist. Brustseiten grösstenteils gelb, mit 2 parallelen schwarzen Binden, welche oben mit einander in Verbindung treten; die hintere verläuft von der Einpflanzung der Flügel senkrecht nach unten bis nahe an die Brust, Schildchen schwarzbehaart. Hinterleib mässig erweitert. 2ter Ring mit 2 schiefliegenden, ovalen, gelben Flecken, deren Aussenecken den Seitenrand berühren, die folgenden Ringe schwarz mit schmaler gelber Binde, welche dem Vorderrand weit näher liegt als dem Hinterrande und hinten in der Mitte sehr wenig ausgeschnitten ist. Die Behaarung des Hinterleibes schwarz, am Seitenraude länger. Genitalien relativ klein, matt schwarzbraun. Vorder- und Mittelbeine gelb, mit schwarzbraunen Tarsen, Hinterbeine ganz schwarzbraun. Flügel etwas bräunlicli tingirt, mit schwarzbraunem Stigma, Schüppchen grösstenteils schwarzbraun, die Wimpern von derselben Farbe. Schwinger gelb.

MALE.
Head: Face with facial tubercle, yellow with medial black vitta, yellow pilose, black pilose dorsolaterally; gena yellow except black on genal suture, yellow pilose; lunule dark brown; frontal triangle yellow with medial triangular brown macula, black pilose; vertical triangle black, black pilose; holoptic, eye bare; antenna brownish, basoflagellomere orange, darker dorsally; arista brown, bare; occiput black, silvery pollinose, withish pilose on ventral half and yellow pilose on dorsal pilose.
Thorax: Scutum black, with lateral yellow vitta from postpronotum to scutellum very narrowed medially because notopleuron and supra-alar area are black laterally, bronze pollinose medially with 3 bluish-silvery pollinose vittae, yellow and black pilose, with black pili on postalar callus and supra-alar area; postpronotum yellow, bare; scutellum yellow with very broad black macula medially, black pilose, subscutellar fringe complete with dark pile. Pleuron mostly black, except proepimeron yellow, anterior anepisternum partly yellow, posterior anepisternum yellow on posterior half, katepimeron and katatergum yellow, and katepisternum with dorsal large yellow macula; metasternum pilose; calypter yellow, blackened dorsally and ventrally; plumula yellow; halter yellow; spiracular fringes yellow. Wing: Wing membrane hyaline, stigma dark brown; entirely microtrichose. Alula broad, microtrichose. Legs: Entirely yellow except mesocoxa dark, pro- and mesotarsi brown, metaleg black.
Abdomen: Parallel-sided, 2nd to 5th terga marginated. Dorsum mainly black, black pilose dorsally and laterally except 1st tergum yellow pilose laterally and 2nd tergum yellow pilose laterally on anterobasal 1/5 and dorsally on yellow maculae; 1st tergum black, yellow laterally; 2nd tergum black with 2 basolateral round yellow maculae, extended forward laterally to anterolateral tergum margin (like “golf club” shaped spots), yellow lateral margin on anterior 1/5; 3rd tergum black with a subbasal narrow fascia (less than 1/3 of tergum length) with posterior margin emarginated, 4th tergum black with a subbasal narrow fascia; 5th tergum black with 2 subtriangular narrow yellow maculae; sterna yellow.
FEMALE.
Similar to male but differs as follow: frons yellow with medial broad black vitta joining posterior black ocellar triangle; pro- and mesofemora slightly brown apically; 2nd and 5th terga with 2 yellow maculae joined medially forming a fascia; yellow fascia on 3rd and 4th terga narrower, around 1/5 of tergum length.
